All you need to know before you schedule a lesson

  • Why should I invest in private lessons for my student?
Investing in private lessons for your student at any age helps them develop their confidence, vocal skills and music literacy. School-aged children are known to have low confidence levels due to comparison and even sometimes direct comments from peers. I see it as part of my job to develop their confidence in not only their voice, but in themselves overall. This increase in skills and confidence can also lead to more self-awareness and understanding, as well as improved performance.
  • How much do voice lessons cost?
I offer 3 levels of lessons: 30 minutes (for elementary aged children ONLY) : $30 45 minutes (for teens) : $40 60 minutes (for teens) : $50 Lessons can be purchased in 4, 8, 12, and 16 week packages.
  • Can I schedule just one lesson?
I do not offer singular voice lessons. This is because noticeable progress happens over time, and not just in one lesson.
  • Do you offer group lessons?
Right now I do not offer group lessons, as I believe the most important growth happens in private voice lessons. However, I do offer some group experiences for existing voice students, which I will notify parents of via email.
  • What should I bring to my lesson?
Singing at your very best requires your entire body. Please come wearing comfortable, movable clothes that allow you to bend and raise your arms comfortably. And of course - always bring water!
  • Do you offer scholarships?
Yes! I do offer a scholarship for families who may struggle to afford voice lessons otherwise. These are limited, but I offer as many spots and lessons as I am able. If you'd like to be considered for a scholarship, please mention that in your contact form.
  • What if I need to miss a lesson, or I'm late?
If you need to miss a lesson, we can reschedule on a different day or add another week to your lessons package, as long as I am notified with at least a 24-hour notice. If it is less than that, the lesson must still be paid for but will be forfeited. Lessons begin and end at the scheduled times, as students before and after your lesson need to be completed on time. If you are late, you forfeit the time of your lesson and it will still end at the scheduled time. If you give at least a 24-hour notice, my best effort will be made to add time to a lesson or schedule a make-up one if possible.
